The Fire Fighters plot

Jimmy Powers, son of a firefighter, is robbed of his house by a villain. Jimmy later finds himself as a firefighter again with the same villain, who also seems to have his father's death on his conscience. Then later it turns out that his father is still alive and father and son do battle with both the criminal and the ruling bureaucracy.
