Mary Brooks' father investigates ancient tribes and ends up in the hands of the people of Zar. Tarzan goes on a quest with Mary, but cannot prevent Mary from being kidnapped by Zar's high priest. Tarzan will now have to single-handedly rescue everyone from Zar's secret cave.

I was once again curious about the "Tarzan films". And by that I don't mean the movies with Weismuller but this time with other actors like Lex Barker, Herman Brix etc. First I found this one on the internet so I went and watched it.
I also thought the movie was mediocre. Enjoyed the first half hour and the end. There were good scenes like when Mary goes into the water while a crocodile is chasing her, but Tarzan is the savior again. The rest of the movie is pretty boring. I also didn't think Buster Crabbe was great, he played his role very silly indeed. I also found the music to be very annoying. The film gets a meager 2.0 from me. Hopefully the films with Lex barker and Herman Brix can also be found on the Internet.
