Last night I checked the ratings, and they were impressive: a 2.3 on IMDb and not much higher on other sites. Today they've skyrocketed, and I suspect the critical audience has seen the film, and now the average moviegoer is coming along. So far (lack of time and sleep coming first) I've only seen three-quarters of the film, and right from the start, we doubted the validity of the ratings. Overall, it wasn't bad; the CGI was excellent, and the story was decent, with decent acting. A few familiar faces also appeared: Rhona Mitra as Dr. Mal and James Cosmo as Grant.
My rating? A 6.

Great entertainment with lots of action scenes and a power girl to die for, namely the beautiful Lindsey Morgan.
The action scenes are generally good, and the entertainment is excellent. The film is easy to watch, and you won't be bored for a moment. This sequel to the two previous films is just as good as the previous installments, making this SF series a decent, enjoyable trilogy where the story is secondary. 7/10

After seeing parts 1 and 2 yesterday, today this last 3rd part Skylines.
I thought this was the least impressive of the three films. In this one, we see almost the entire film shot inside the space station itself. They're on a mission to infiltrate another ship, but there are several "aliens" on board, so they have to fight them. There's a lot of action and spectacle inside the space station, though.
The little girl from part 2 is now a grown woman who plays the leading role and therefore has to complete the mission.
I really missed the scenes on Earth with the inhabitants. This film also veered more towards science fiction with more lasers, and at one point it felt a bit fake.
But luckily there is something happening throughout the film and it doesn't bore me. I enjoyed this one, but it is the least interesting of the three parts.
