Reasonable action/comedy. Chris Tucker didn't play his part convincingly and Jackie Chan can do a lot better too.

If I really had to choose, I'd choose the original, but I actually think this one should stand next to it. The story is here again a stepping stone to guide Chan and Tucker through the most bizarre circumstances and thanks to the chemistry between the two, that is also great entertainment.

The fights are slightly less than in the first part, but luckily Tucker's humor is at least the same level. Funny how he also improvises a lot. A strong side effect is Zhang as the villain. Her role may not be that big, but I do have a soft spot for women. I think it was the first movie I saw of her.

After many revisions, this one is still in the personal top list of action comedies.
