Once the serial killer Doo-Suk Lee regains some freedoms in prison, he writes his autobiography 'I Am a Murderer', detailing all of his murders. The book becomes a bestseller and Ji-soo Han, the mother of one of his victims, vows revenge. Detective Choi, who has been investigating Lee's murders for fifteen years, reopens a number of cases. Meanwhile, another killer becomes active, casting doubt on Lee's guilt for the serial murders.
