Creaking steel, squeaky tires, big shots and violence on highways; Harmon has done better. Here too he has his stylistic moments, but holding on is not really one of them. It's all a bit burdened by a kind of story pressure, which emerges several times emphatically when characters explain their history quite extensively.

It's not all that interesting and how the road can change your character remains in the void. Even as a thriller it gradually goes downhill. There is some roadfun in it and the killer itself is a funny appearance, but the game between him and Caviezel never really wants to crackle. Not even with Mitra there. The red dress actually symbolizes unfulfilled ambition.

This thriller is actually quite mediocre. The simple story (revenge) doesn't amount to much and it doesn't get interesting or exciting anywhere. The ending is perhaps the best part of this movie, because it was still nice.

Because the film only lasts 73 minutes (fortunately) and the speed is quite high, this film still looks away reasonably well. The film also looks nice because of Rhona Mitra who is not bad to watch. By the way, she didn't play great and the same goes for the male lead actor James Caviezel. The one who still has a bit of fun (also provided a bit of humor) is Frankie Faison as traffic inspector Will Macklin.

All in all, this mediocre intention is nothing more and less to have seen as nice, but nothing more. I will certainly not remember this film for very long and that is perhaps the best thing about this film.

Great snack with compact playing time, nice soundtrack, good Caviezel and creepy outside screen bad guy. No flashy cars but old American wide boxes from the 70s. The ending may be a bit anti-climactic for some. Could have been just a little bit more. And Mitra is always a trade-off: hot chick but little emotion. Still nice to see you again.
