I may have only seen 1 movie from Bruce Lee (unfortunately) called The Big Boss, but that actually hit like a bomb and Bruce Lee had already become my new hero. I also really liked this documentary. However, this is not really specifically about Bruce Lee. More about boxes and everything and Lee's possible successors. Nevertheless. In any case, it was a very interesting documentary and they also gave enough information about Bruce Lee. I liked that intermission film with a reconstruction of Bruce Lee's childhood and bits from his grandfather's films. In the reconstruction, the acting is frankly ridiculous with fake crying and exaggerated melo-drama, etc., but it was educational. I also liked the kung-fu and boxing competitions and the strength tests with that wood in half. Actually, I think this is more like a sports channel with some reconstructions and pieces from films by Lee in between. But, as said, this is absolutely not against. Certainly not for 1 euro.

Nice documentary. Definitely worth it. Soon that other Bruce Lee documentary from the 5 for 5 bucket of fish.

4.0*

A guess mainly because of the name Bruce Lee, because Enter The Dragon is quite nice for once. Yet where the maker of this film / documentary actually wanted to go, he probably didn't even know himself. The result is a very poor and rudderless product.

Because where the documentary first seems to go in a direction with investigative journalism and the so-called mystery surrounding the death of Bruce Lee with the dreaded Dim Mak technique, that is also quickly turned around with a number of recordings of a tournament that should not have happened. out of place in the WCW ring with the likes of Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan and Diamond Dalles Page. What a nonsense suddenly and that after an introduction where I did prick up my ears.

You could take the middle part that is filled with images of Lee in other films as a kind of tribute, but I'm really not waiting for this, just like the characters portrayed by Willamson and Van Clief to name a few. The film then returns to the parties and demonstrations in the ring. What I'm looking at is a complete mystery to me and I can only say that this is a worthless and rudderless product. Perhaps a bigger mystery than Bruce Lee's death is what director Mallinson had in mind.
