To cope with the traumas of his childhood, Cash uses his aggression to become a world champion in MMA combat. Pretty strong drama. The story is simple father and son conflict and is well worked out by Sarkisov. The build-up is good and tension between the protagonists is well built up to an inevitable climax. The limited amount of fight scenes looks nice visually but with a dash of Hollywood to spice it up. The acting is also fine with a strong role for Dorff. Great movie. 4.0

I really disliked this movie given the reviews.
I didn't think the movie came close to Warrior because it's insanely good.
Also, the protagonist does not resemble Connor Mcgregor at all in behavior, what he is trying to do.
Owja let me not forget the fight scenes because that didn't look at all with that camera flashed back and forth.
I can't follow a fight properly, like in the better fight drama movies.

Good film in which the son of an MMA world champion also wants to go far in martial arts. The characters are well portrayed and the father-son relationship provides enough tension (although it gets a bit unbelievable during the second part). A bit cliche here and there, but entertaining from start to finish and an exciting final battle. A small 3.5 stars.
