Lauren Curran and her husband Russell move into The Pinnacle, an elegant, modern apartment complex with all amenities, including a state-of-the-art security system. Recovering from a tragic loss, Lauren feels safe with the added security, but soon suspects something is wrong with the apartment, much to the concern of Russell, who thinks she's imagining things. Lauren investigates the company that built The Pinnacle and meets Vernon Sarsfield, a conspiracy theorist.
