In the near future, America will be ruled by an all-powerful corporate government that controls the masses through violent virtual-reality entertainment. The biggest event of the year is the Death Race in which a motley crew of drivers race across the country. Points can be scored by running over pedestrians. The reigning champion and popular favorite is Frankenstein, half man, half machine. Little does he know that his copilot is a rebellious spy.
