Cyborg Cop (1993)

Cool! Finally got around to putting the DVD in, and it worked. Bradley is very cool, and the many action scenes are well-deserved. A few strong moments, which are actually enough on their own to make the film worthwhile.

The idea of cyborg soldiers certainly lives up to the hype at the time, but that doesn't change the fact that it's only a minor aspect in an otherwise fairly traditional 80s-style action film with unnecessary explosions and cool-headedness involving motorcycles and crappy technology.

This always works better with a touch of nostalgia, but I lack that. Fortunately, even then, it's still a great fit for those who enjoy tacky and clunky action, with some unnecessary romance and witty one-liners.

Entertaining 90s sci-fi that obviously tries to capitalize on the hype of the time, but this is and remains B-movie, entertaining B-movie, that's for sure. Cyborg Cop isn't anything special, but simply fun and nostalgic, especially on VHS .

I rewatched it today. Unfortunately, it was never released on Blu-ray, so I have to make do with my 3-DVD box set containing all three parts. This remains a fantastic 90s action/sci-fi film. I'll switch off my brain and enjoy watching it.

There are quite a few things happening throughout the film, including some nice scenes, especially when he meets a woman, a journalist, and experiences all sorts of adventures with her.

The ending was also very successful! On to part 2
