Noah Cruise, a naturally gifted basketball player, is destined to become a doctor by taking advantage of his basketball scholarship at UCLA. Rather than succumb to the big bucks as talent agent Vaughn's lure and go to the NBA. His best friend, who already fell into the same trap before him, has been in prison for a robbery. Tech, also a brilliant basketball player, has much lesser ambitions: he wants to play an underground and illegal street game against his arrogant rival, Jewelz. However, their lives change drastically when both fall in love with two local girls, Vanessa Lilly and Eboni Jackson, with whom they take a trip from Los Angeles.
