Jay Wagner was wrongfully charged with murder by his grandfather and sentenced to 28 years in a maximum-security prison. Wagner's wife tells the grandfather in good faith that she hired Nick Colton to help Jay with the escape. When an attempt fails, Nick suspects a leak and realizes that all further plans must be kept secret.
