Bad Boys for Life plot
"Ride together. Die together."
Mike Lowrey and Marcus Burnett are still with the Miami Police Department. While Marcus is already thinking about retiring to finally enjoy his family and new grandchild, his partner Mike plans to chase the crooks until he is 100. Involuntarily, they both have to spring into action when a violent serial killer puts Mike at the top of his kill list. They get help from a newly established police unit full of young dogs, who use the most modern technical gadgets.

Best movie in the franchise. There is a nice mix of humor and action and the film is visually very nicely done for this genre. It's not original of course. It seems to be a mix between the Fast & Furious franchise and Lethal Weapon. But the film delivers what you can expect from such a film. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah certainly didn't miss their start in Hollywood. America is perhaps a little less eager for the indie filmmakers who score so well with us. But such a strange film with a lot of dialogue and the occasional nudity is more likely to deter the average American. If you have a few stars, a well-known film series and the necessary budget, it is of course a risk to put it in the hands of two Belgians, but they clearly have the vision of young filmmakers and the target audience of the film. What you unfortunately see in many reboots and sequels these days, are quality filmmakers who unfortunately don't understand anything about the film they make themselves. Bad Boys For Life is not very original, but knows how to surf the blockbuster of our time perfectly.

After half an hour of bewildered watching this failure, I walked out of the cinema. The film was disappointing in every way. Laurence's acting was to cry. Slow, bloated and totally not funny as it used to be. Smith doesn't do much better and the result is an uninspired, humorless, over the top, predictable and unsatisfying film from the start that I personally (in my opinion yes) didn't think was worth watching. I want my money back

Wow what a bad act. Especially Martin Lawrence, a floppy head and talking slower than an elderly person, ruins the whole thing. held for 20 minutes.
