Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom plot
"The tide is turning."
Aquaman, meanwhile, is allowed to take a seat on the throne of Atlantis. However, when an ancient force breaks free, Aquaman must form an uneasy alliance with an unlikely ally to protect Atlantis and the world from irreparable damage. Saw it yesterday, with 10 other people in the room.....
The film is certainly not bad, but the first one remains much better for me.
Don't know if they will continue with this.
Jason Momoa is a top actor, but he himself does not make this film top. (which he did with Fast X).
It is clear that DC is much better at making series than at films.

Had a great evening! Light-hearted film with lots of dry humor, action and beautiful CGI. Especially a superhero film that does not take itself too seriously, which is often the case with the Marvel franchise. Highly recommended and, just like with part 1, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Saw it yesterday in the cinema and have to say that, just like the first part, the film manages to offer more fun and entertainment than you would suspect given the oversupply of this subgenre. I watched this film together with my son without any prior knowledge of reviews or trailers and I have to admit that it was all very well-paced with lots of spectacle and gigantic, beautiful underwater and above-water images that constantly stimulate your eyes. Maybe sometimes a little too much of a good thing, but we didn't have that feeling. Okay, you shouldn't do it for the story, but everything else that has to do with film looked fine. A nice kick-off with the song Born to be Wild by Steppenwolf and Black Manta is a nice villain. I even get the feeling that this film is better than the first part, so a 7/10
