Christopher Nolan doesn't want to talk about Matt Reeves' The Batman starring Robert Pattinson, perhaps understandably.
The acclaimed director helmed the enormously successful Dark Knight trilogy - Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Those movies, along with Iron Man, helped to usher in the superhero dominance of the box office, but also an era of critical acclaim for comic book movies, too.
Many fans consider The Dark Knight to be the greatest superhero movie ever made.
Years later, Reeves took on the daunting task of rebooting the Batman franchise and did so successfully, adding an even darker spin on the series, with Pattinson playing Bruce Wayne.
When asked by Variety if he had seen The Batman, Nolan refused to talk about it, and with good reason.
"If I start talking about comic book movies, that would be the only thing anybody pays any attention to in the article,” he responded.

What is next for Christopher Nolan?
Nolan has directed some of the biggest movies in history, none more so than his most recent hit, Oppenheimer, which not only generated $947 million at the box office, but is also garnering serious Oscar buzz.
He doesn't stick to one particular topic in his films, and says inspiration for his next project can come from anywhere.
“Ideas come from everywhere,” he explained.
“I’ve done a remake, I’ve made adaptations from comic books and novels, and I’ve written original screenplays. I’m open to anything. But as a writer and director, whatever I do, I have to feel like I own it completely. I have to make it original to me: The initial seed of an idea may come from elsewhere, but it has to go through my fingers on a keyboard and come out through my eyes alone.”
