Into the Storm plot
"There is no calm before the storm."
In one day, the town of Silverton is devastated by the unprecedented power of a series of tornadoes. The population is at the mercy of the unpredictable and deadly cyclones, while storm chasers warn that the worst is yet to come. Entertainment.
A decent American film that also excels in almost nothing and adds very little to the genre, but in the end it succeeds in doing what it's supposed to do, and that is to entertain. We also look for that.
Not very strong acting and especially in the first part the effects are not very high. There is certainly a certain threat from those tornadoes and the EF5 tornado was of course enjoyable. High popcorn content.
Not realistic in any way, with bad acting and quite annoying types, but great popcorn entertainment and in general it looks pretty good. It also doesn't last that long and especially towards the second part there is a certain tension present.
I did enjoy myself, but it doesn't really add much to the genre. Fortunately, I like the genre and can always have fun with it.

I personally thought this film was nice and beautifully presented with all those wonderful weather systems that we as people run away from or….. look for. It is a pity that these tornadoes do not occur here, so would go hunting for them. As mentioned, as an amateur meteorologist this was a fascinating and exciting whole for me.
A 7 as rating!
