La Rivolta dei Pretoriani plot
Rome groans under the rule of Emperor Domiziano and his Egyptian mistress Artamne. An unknown, masked man rises to fight the Emperor. Because of his disguise, he wears a skin with a wolf's head on his head, he comes to be known as the Red Wolf. The Red Wolf is none other than the centurion Velerio Rufo, a confidant of the Emperor. His position allows him to help the Emperor's opponents escape before they can be arrested. Slowly, however, the net closes around him as the Emperor is determined to eliminate his opponents in order to quell a possible rebellion immediately.
