Romeo und Julia im Schnee plot

In the small snowy village of Schwabstedt, in the black forest, the families of Capulethofer and Montekugerl are arguing over an old conflict over a sausage. This conflict even affects the youngest members of the families. Montekugerl's son, young Romeo (Gustav von Wangenheim), returns to the village after years of absence and falls in love with Capulethofer's daughter, the beautiful Julia (Lotte Neumann). When this gets out, Julia's family decides to marry her off to a clumsy good-for-nothing.
