Xi You Ji plot
For years, the rebellious Monkey was locked in a mountain. He once shook the pillars of heaven and the gods sent him away on them. By chance, he comes into contact with the priest Tang who is on his way to India to retrieve sacred scriptures that he must bring to China. An easy task in itself, were it not for the fact that there is a legend that whoever eats Tang's flesh will become immortal. The gentle Tang asks Monkey to accompany and protect him.
