"You Can't Fight Your Destiny."
Hit Girl and Kick-Ass try to live normal lives as teenagers Mindy and Dave. With graduation just around the corner, Dave decides to start the world's first superhero team with Mindy. However, when Mindy is caught trying to sneak off to become a Hit Girl, she must stop - and confront the terrifying world of mean girls in high school alone. Dave joins Justice Forever, a group of masked crusaders.

This is a step back compared to the first part. This part was less original and refreshing.
The story was also fairly predictable, but luckily the cast was on a roll. I expected a bigger role for Jim Carrey.
Well, it was to be expected that they could not match the original. All a bit bigger, but unfortunately also a bit less.

The feats of Kick-Ass and Hit-Girl have inspired many people to create their own superheroes. Mindy Macready aka Hit-girl [Chloë Grace Moretz] has been battling scum since her father's death, but realizes she needs Dave / Kick-Ass [Aaron Taylor-Johnson] to keep up the job. Meanwhile, Chris D'Amico [Christopher Mintz-Plasse] seeks revenge for the loss of his father and gathers a number of superheroes to deal with Hit-Girl and Kick-Ass for good. They find help in a superhero society led by Colonel Stars and Stripes [Jim Carrey]. Inferior sequel proves that excess hurts and barely manages to arouse any interest in the characters or the underlying story. Clark Duke and Augustus Prew are happily back as Dave's loyal friends and Carrey is good for a smile here and there, but Chris D'Amico's alter ego ("Motherfucker") gives an impression of the level of humour.
