La Vache et le Prisonnier plot
The second World War. A French prisoner of war receives a cow from the farmer's wife on the farm in Germany where he is employed as safe conduct during his attempt to escape. The cow must ensure that the Germans do not become suspicious: after all, it seems that he is taking the animal to the meadow. Meanwhile, the cow supplies the POW with the necessary food. The 800 kilometer journey home is not without difficulties. Meanwhile, the prisoner becomes more and more attached to the cow.
