Elling plot
"They're packed and ready for the greatest adventure of their lives. All they have to do is get out of the house."
When his mother, who has protected him all his life, dies, 40-year-old Elling, a sensitive wannabe poet, is sent to an asylum. There he meets Kjell Bjarne, a friendly giant man who has an obsession with women but is still a virgin in his forties. After two years, the two men have to stand on their own two feet again. They end up in an apartment subsidized by the state. The two are very dependent on each other, and that binds them together. But as their social skills improve and their courage increases, they find themselves in increasingly dubious situations.

BACON WITH JUICE PLEASE
Touching film about 2 gentlemen with different problems who return to society together, which is really wonderful! Didn't really have to laugh at anything, but it's not the type of movie for that either, although the scenes where he can't control his voice and has to answer a simple phone are really hilarious.

Entertaining.
Simple snack about a kind of Dumb and Dumber-esque duo and their adventures. Very dry at one moment and brave feel good at the next. Both protagonists do their job excellently and with such a limited playing time, the film is over in no time. Without really delivering high-quality cinema, it's all smooth and pleasant enough.

Two men get to know each other in a psychiatric institution and after a period of time have to live on their own in Oslo in order to be able to function in society again. The film has enough elements in it to be a very beautiful or special film. But this director won't let it get that far. The stories don't really go into depth. Now all that remains is a very nice comedy, with nice actors and a nice story that looks good. And that's fine too. Although I would rather give the film a few more stars.
