Moscow, in the near future. The cyberpunks and corrupt police rule the city with only one goal: power, money and violence. American petty thief John Wade (Rutger Hauer) and his business friend Merrick (Mark Dacascos) want to smuggle and sell valuable computer chips. When the money is up for grabs, Merrick shoots Wade and Katya and makes off with the loot. Wade is brought back to life by an experimental project. Now he heads into the Moscow underworld to exact revenge on Merrick.
