Murder on a Honeymoon plot
"Shiver and shake while you giggle and quake!"
During the flight to Santa Catalina Island, schoolteacher and amateur private detective Hildegarde Withers witnesses the sudden death of fellow passenger Roswell T. Forrest. But Britt, the police chief of Santa Catalina, insists Forrest died of a heart attack. However, Hildegarde is convinced that Forrest was murdered and she telegrams her friend, Inspector Oscar Piper in New York. There, Piper learns that Forrest was a state witness against a gangster gang and that the criminal offered McArthur $10,000 for Forrest's death.
