Borrowed Wives plot
Peter Foley's grandfather leaves him a million dollars, on the condition that he marries. Peter plans to marry Alice as soon as she arrives from Kansas City. Uncle Henry must see to it that the wedding takes place before midnight. Alice, however, is delayed and Peter gets a deputy split in the stomach through a creditor.
