The popular Elle Woods has it all. She's in a relationship with the cutest guy on campus, and she wants nothing more than Mrs. Becoming Warner Huntington III. However, there is one thing that keeps Warner from proposing to her: Elle is too blond. When Warner is packing his things to go to Harvard, he runs into an old friend. Elle must do everything she can to get into Harvard too, and is determined to win him back.

Headscratcher.
I think I actually wanted to watch Clueless, but somehow I always mix up the two. This one has little name and fame, but oh well, once I'm busy I always watch everything, including this video.
Saying it's full of clichés is superfluous, but that won't get you there either. Because really EVERYTHING is a cliché of a cliché. The stupid blonde, the dull university graduates, go-getter lawyers, the course where everyone is being watched, the end. Most American comedies play easily with those clichés, but never as exaggerated as here.
The film is clearly more than your average comedy. You could call it a pastiche, but for that it lacked just too much the tongue-in-cheek that I identify with it. What remains is a film that I can still appreciate in terms of structure, but which did not do much for me in terms of elaboration. Besides a chuckle or two and the always cheerful atmosphere, I didn't like it much.
Or I'm completely wrong, and this movie is really so stupid that the makers themselves didn't realize they weren't making your average comedy, but that seems rather strong to me. It's become a kind of Farrelly comedy, but made from the corner of a woman's eye. I suspect it has its fans, it's own enough for that, but I didn't really think it was great.

Really a movie that makes me happy. Really worth watching, Very good and fun movie with a surprising positive twist. she won't take her ex boyfriend who dumped her back to her success on harvard because it has made her realize that he is actually a nerd. i really enjoyed this You go girl movie ,Reese Witherspoon is very pleasant and sexy to watch and she acts very well.I am instantly in love and of course I give a 5.0 star ,Yes!!

Good film about a girl who goes to Harvard because her ex is studying law there. This film does away with the dumb-blonde type in an entertaining way. Some fat, but fun characters. There's plenty to laugh about and Reese Witherspoon is not only well cast, but also portrays her role perfectly (the costumes help too).
