'The Girl' tells the story of Alfred Hitchcock (Toby Jones)'s obsessive relationship with 'The Birds' star Tippi Hedren (Sienna Miller). Hitchcock was at the height of his career in 1962 when he chose the unknown fashion model to star in his new movie 'The Birds'. But when he turns Hedren into the perfect Hitchcock blonde, he becomes obsessed with winning her love.
