Chez Nous plot
Chez Nous tells the story of the gay-friendly cafe Chez Nous that is in danger of being sold to a major catering magnate. To prevent this sale, the regular visitors of the café plan a squat during the Amsterdam Gay Pride. They are after a diamond necklace worth millions that can be seen in the 'Royal Museum' in Amsterdam. The group hopes to get away with the loot in the bustle of the boat parade and thus save their favorite pub and home base from destruction. But will she succeed?

I forgot for a moment that Chez nous is not a French film, but a Dutch film that I had already seen once before. A film about a gay bar in financial trouble. Now, the second time I look a bit more positive than the first time. It's actually quite a fun movie.
