Beau Sabreur plot
"With the Power of Charging Cavalry"
The legionnaires Major Henri de Beaujolais, Raoul de Redon and Dufour stayed away longer than allowed during their leave in Algiers and therefore have to go to prison. There Henri earns the title of "Beau Sabreur," from his uncle General Beaujolais, when he wins a duel with the traitor Becque. Beaujolais, who has plans for the Sahara, begs Henri for the sake of France to leave the women alone. He sends Henri first to the desert to learn the customs of the locals and then to Zaguig, where he meets American journalist Mary Vanbrugh. Henri first turns his nose up at her, remembering his promise.
