"There's a Laugh in Every Tear-Gas Bomb This Lady Packs Under Her Sables!"

Hattie Leonard is a wealthy matriarchal and aging Victorian minded woman. She runs both the local bank and the city. After blackmailers come to town and demand protection money from the merchants, Hattie discovers that her cleaning costs have skyrocketed. Her cleaner Vincenzo Zambrogio turns out to have to pay money to a criminal protection organization. The outraged Hattie asks the mayor to act and rid the city of the blackmailers, but he refuses. Hattie then takes matters into his own hands and recruits former thug Frankie O'Fallon and his henchmen to battle the blackmailers.
