Michael "The Lone Wolf" Laynard, a former criminal, is now a private investigator. The Lone Wolf and his loyal servant Jamison are falsely accused of murder. The real culprit is a gang of counterfeiters who send their counterfeit money plates to the countryside in a theft-proof truck invented by Johnny Baker.
