After a life of crime, gentleman and jewel robber Michael Lanyard, also known as 'Lone Wolf', has reformed in every way. But then his sweetheart Marcia Mayfair is robbed by a rival gang. Lanyard reverts back to his old ways and goes on the theory that it takes a thief to catch a thief.
