"The sort-of sequel to 'Knocked Up'"
A spin-off from the movie Knocked Up, which gives a glimpse into the lives of Pete and Debbie. They have grown older and a lot has happened. They depend on Debbie's clothing store for their income. They also walk around with the big questions of life. "Did they make the right choices?" "Is this their place in the world?" And: "Is this really all?" All the dreams they had as a child, all the possibilities, is that now ruined by a simple marriage and having some kids?

I gave this one a try and thought it was a good movie. I had to laugh a few times and the cast did a great job. Other than that it looked fine.
I thought The 40 Year Old Virgin was better, although this one is also good.

“All of a sudden we're a magnet of negativity. What did we do?”
Great rom com. Apatow makes it a slightly too long film again, but the joke density is high, and I had to laugh a lot at all the nonsense. Leslie Mann and Paul Rudd are also the perfect actors for these types of roles, and as spouses in a worn-out marriage, they convince throughout the runtime. A nice detail is that the child actors are also the real children of Leslie Mann. Brooks and Lithgow are great fathers in supporting roles, and Segel is back as well. The humor works and there is chemistry between the actors, and then you have already won half the battle in these kinds of films.

Very annoying.
Unbelievable, actually, that a director who can basically do it makes films like this. This film lasts no less than 2 hours and a quarter, but apart from a few sparse moments with the always reasonable Paul Rudd, there is nothing to do. The bulk of the film is dull misery: a lot of bad comedy and cringe-inducing drama, despite some nice/recognizable scenes with, for example, that teenage daughter.
Leslie Mann is in my top 3 most annoying actresses ever with this role. No idea why she thinks she can act and even less an idea why others would think so.
