The Adventures of Hal 5 plot

Former RAF pilot Dicey needs money and decides to buy his old 928 Austin 7; registration number HAL 5 to sell. HAL 5, however, has a mind and a mind of its own and is delighted to be bought by Pastor Hayward and his nephews and nieces Charles and Moira. The car is in a bad condition and has to go to the garage for repair. There, the evil mechanic Goorlie tries in all sorts of ways to make money from the naive pastor.
