"RIDING BRAVELY INTO A HURRICANE OF DANGER"
After a big drinking bout, Colonel Grifford sells a plot of land to the criminal Wolf Hines for the sum of $5,000. Bob Drake, aka 'The Colorado Kid' and a foreman employed by the Colonel, then tries to get his drunken boss home safely with the money, but he is fired. The Colonel is ambushed and killed by Hines' gang on the way, and Bob Drake is accused of the act. He is arrested and sentenced to the noose. Drake must devise a plan to escape and bring the true perpetrators to justice.
