I endorse my predecessor. Predictable or not, the structure of the films and the way in which the tension is increased work very well for me : I am never bored, the moments of rest are extremely effective, and the discharges (the suddenly collapsing sheet behind the babysitter, the invisible wall the girls bump into, the household goods falling from the ceiling) often make me sit up in my chair, which I don't get very often in other, more traditional horror movies. Again, it may just be a rehearsal, but I'm not tired (or horrified) yet.

One of the better PA parts.
This one is actually better than the first one as it is more exciting. It's a shame that these directors couldn't make part 4 so exciting, and that part also remained very tame. Parts 1 and 2 weren't very exciting either, maybe 1 in small patches.
At the beginning I was really annoyed by the cliches, Child and demon friend, I've seen so many times. Fortunately, this part is not lacking in tension. Not that it was so unbelievably scary, but I thought the Bloody Mary scene with Randy was a standout.
Most successful part, I wonder if The Marked Ones and The Ghost Dimension will also please me.

Paranormal Activity, one of my favorite movie series. This third in the series remains the best in the series, I still really love this, few films in the genre can type. Also the characters, yes, put in a fantastic performance here. I always feel so present with such movies, at night, alone, wonderful. If I really had to choose between gore/splatter and this, well then it would be this.
