The story takes place in 2011, five years after Katie killed her boyfriend Micah, her sister Kristi and her husband Daniel and took their baby Hunter with her. Alex and her family experience strange happenings in their home. Alex begins to suspect it has to do with the quirky woman and her son who live across the street.

I remain very sensitive (in the positive sense of the word) to that formula of CCTV cameras that simply pick up what can be seen without a director sending the images (supposedly), so as a viewer you never know exactly when and from which corner something shocking or scary happens. That said, the premise with that little boy isn't particularly exciting and pretty slow-paced, actually all (few) shock effects are in the last part of the film and the ending (with the elimination of just about all characters) is pretty decent. unsatisfactory because it is overly radical, so that I am really disappointed for the first time with this fourth part. Maybe the cake is just gone.

I'm going through the whole series again, 1, 2 and 3 last night. So now part 4 is still there. I'm a big PA fan anyway, of which 1 and 3 are the best, say great. This 4th in the series is fun anyway, with that sandal kid, that Katie. Very low score, oh well, I do prefer films that do the mainstream and generally poorly.

This one is slightly less than part 3. There are some dead moments in it and a bit weak in terms of scare moments. In the end it all has to go fast again. Katie also returns in this film. This movie takes place after part 1 and 2, 5 years later if I'm not mistaken. For me part 1 and part 3 are the best in terms of creepiness. This part and part 2 are a bit more boring. They are not top movies, but they are somewhat entertaining and demons always have something mysterious about them. That remains the case here. You don't really get an explanation so you keep looking for more information.
