The police are confronted with a murderer who targets pregnant women. The media is on top of it and the police are under heavy pressure to come up with results quickly. They find Chan Kit near the crime. He is an old acquaintance of the police, but he refuses to speak, even when dealt with harshly. The police have no choice but to release him again. However, they are certain that Chan Kit can be linked to the murders.
