The Horror of It All plot
"The zaniest bunch of ghouls ever to haunt a house!"
A Yankee visits an eccentric British family to ask for the hand of one of their daughters. He soon finds himself surrounded by a very strange family. One of them talks like Bela Lugosi, another thinks she's a vampire, while a third is locked in an isolation cell. Another family member is thrilled when he finally invents a carriage that doesn't require horses (50 years after Henry Ford). And the grandfather reads the Playboy just before he dies. Trouble begins when members of the family are mysteriously murdered. The American must discover which member of the family will inherit the family fortune.
