"Everything he needed to know about life, she learned in prison."

And that is best achieved thanks to the clever lawyer with whom he became acquainted via the internet. However, their first real acquaintance turns out to be a sobering one. Pretty nice movie, nothing new, but not annoying or anything. And Queen Latifah is such a delightful 'big mamma'. Very infectious. The film is therefore also best when it is on screen.

3 stars.

Entertaining comedy. Stereotype characters and a predictable story, but that should certainly not spoil the fun. Nice supporting roles from Eugene Levy and Joan Plowright. However, it is still Queen Latifah who has the best role, and plays it with great enthusiasm. Lots of racist jokes, but the movie gets away with that.
