The famous prison Alcatraz, only ten times worse, built on three tropical islands, in South America, off the coast of French Guiana, far from civilization: Welcome to Devil's Island. 50 years after the closure of this hell on earth, filmmaker and researcher Jean-Christofe Jeaffre and his crew travel to the now overgrown prison, made famous for both its spectacular escapes and its innocently imprisoned inhabitants.
