Detective Jake Slater must investigate the murder of a fellow police officer. Unfortunately for him, he can't do it alone and has to team up with the partner of this murdered cop. However, this partner is not just any random sleuth but a real dog, Reno. At first neither of them makes much sense to operate as a duo. But soon the murder case takes the upper hand and the two no longer have time to bother each other. Especially not if the case is a little bigger than they initially thought.
