Yogi is always assisted by the young bear Boo-Boo. When Yogi learns that the miserly Mayor Brown wants to close Yellystone Park once and for all, he must team up with Boo-Boo and old enemy Ranger Smith to stop this, or families will never be able to enjoy nature again. Yogi and Boo-Boo lose their "home". During the adventure, they meet Rachel, a wildlife documentary maker, who is trying to film Yogi and Boo-Boo for her next movie.

drowsy.

I don't quite know what the director wanted to do with this, but it didn't succeed at all. It's way too bland for that, and even annoying. Even kids will feel a little cheated by this, Yogi Bear's voice is incredibly annoying.

The villain is stupid, Faris is not nice and then you only have the cheerful animation of the bears, which are successful. The bears look nice for the rest, only Yogi Bear himself is quite an annoying character and the film is extremely bland and annoying.

Not at all what I expected, the result is not exactly fun for adults but also for children. Far too bland and annoying on the screen. Too bad, this could have been a fun movie.

Aykroyd and Timberlake do a decent job as Yogi and Boo Boo but are let down hopelessly by a weak story that leaves Breivik with little choice but to fall back on desperate slapstick. Mayor Brown [a pleasantly shrewd Andy Daly] has plunged his city into financial ruin. To save his skin (and secure his re-election), he finds a loophole that allows him to sell Jellystone and 'distribute' the money to the residents. Ranger Smith [Tom Cavanagh] can only prevent that if he manages to amass a fortune in a short time. He gets help from documentary maker Rachel [Anna Faris]. Of course, Yogi [Dan Aykroyd] and Boo Boo [Justin Timberlake] also want to do their part, but that's the last thing Ranger Smith is waiting for. Good-natured and acceptable to little ones, but this worked much better in 30 minute bite size chunks.
