"Sometimes you get too close"
The Bang Bang Club tells the true story of a group of four photographers who captured the horrific race riots in South Africa in the early 1990s. At the risk of their own lives, they always tried to take the best, most confrontational and most uncompromising photos of the horrors that took place there. The long hard road from Apartheid to a democracy with equal opportunities for white and black was accompanied by a lot of bloodshed. However, the four men of the Bang Bang Club did not emerge from the battle unscathed.
