Across the Plains plot
"Jack's six-guns take their toll as he blasts his way across the untamed prairie!"
After a band of outlaws attack a caravan of settlers near Lone Pine, California, little Jack Winters is adopted by an itinerant group of Native Americans and is given the name "Cherokee." Jack's young brother Jimmy Winters is kidnapped by bandits and he is now known as the infamous outlaw 'Kansas Kid'. Years later, an adult Jack and Jimmy meet again over the robbery of a shipment of gold, only that each is on a different side of the law. Ignorant that they are brothers, Jack and Jimmy are about to kill each other, but then the old "wagonmaster" Buckskin recognizes both brothers and tells them that they are brothers. Jimmy learns that Buff Gordon, a member of his gang, was involved in the murder of his parents.
