The White Orchid plot
"Xtabay... exotic jungle goddess!"
Robert Burton is an archaeologist working in southern Mexico. He believes that remnants of the ancient 'Toltec' civilization can be found in a remote area. Robert asks for a photographer, but is frustrated when a young woman (the attractive blonde Kathryn Williams) is sent out to him. Kathryn is constantly annoyed by Robert's petty remarks, but she still takes the photos he asks for. A little later, Kathryn convinces Robert to hire Juan Cervantes, a local plantation owner, as their guide. During the expedition, Robert grows in awe of Kathryn. Eventually, Robert and Juan fall in love with Kathryn, which leads to mutual tension and also carries life-threatening risks due to the increasing dangers around them.
