Still a nice little Netflix production about two people who see each other again after twenty years. They are no longer in a relationship and both lead their own lives. The first acquaintance is as recognizable and as bumbling as in real life. Although you are genuinely happy to see someone again and the cliché question comes up with the cliché answer, it's extremely difficult to take it one step further.

This eventually happens here too, but only at the second chance in the parking lot. What follows are nostalgic moments and reminiscing. Eating, laughing, dancing, catching up and having fun. It's all part of it and it's an unforgettable evening. Until it turns and the monkey comes out of the sleeve why the relationship ended.

I didn't see it coming and also the theft of that letter made it painfully clear that there were major wounds at the time. Other than that, it's very smooth. More of a talk film, but it remains fascinating. Nice!

Childhood sweethearts [Sarah Paulson and screenwriter Mark Duplass] meet by chance after 20 years in a supermarket in the town where they met. Although the contact is a bit awkward at first, they decide to spend some time together and that brings back happy memories... but also very painful ones.

Beautifully written and excellently acted romantic drama about looking back on childhood loves as adults has many poignant moments, but it's a shame that Duplass' screenplay takes an unnecessary, melodramatic turn towards the end.

Beautifully acted mumble core film that relies on a melancholy atmosphere. Everything comes across as genuine and natural. Every scene seems relevant and shows how beautiful the world can be when you have someone around you who understands you. The chemistry between the two main characters looks authentic and that is well done.

In the last half hour it all gets a bit too forced and unfortunately this is at the expense of the atmosphere and credibility. In the end, the film recovers and the beautiful feeling lingers. Atmospheric images, beautiful music and empathetic acting.

A special experience that can now be seen on Netflix

Good
