You're Not You plot

"Life is measured in moments that leave you breathless."

Kate suffers from ALS which makes her less mobile. She therefore decides to hire Bec, an aimless and self-righteous college student, to care for her, despite her husband's objections. However, what started as a part-time job for Bec turns into a life-changing experience as her relationship with Kate turns her into a young woman of confidence and ambition.

Beautiful drama. Well played by both ladies plus. Terrible disease if you were to get ALS. A film like this makes you think that we are often whining and whining about nothing. Be happy that you wake up every morning with a healthy body.

This was a beautiful movie. It was a compelling film with excellent acting. Both ladies did it with verve and came across as convinced. The movie looked good and the movie was not boring. Consider it a must.

In the beginning, Bec's character is quite magnified to the point of annoying, but the engaging Swank quickly raises the level. These kinds of roles are perfect for Swank and she again does not disappoint. She knows how to convincingly portray every phase of her illness, which makes the whole thing strong and penetrating. The secondary storylines are of a lower quality, although the interaction with Bec (Rossum) does become more powerful during the film, but Swank also knows how to carry the film on her own. *3.5
