Mediocre film in which a group of teenagers come back from camp and find that the country is in a state of war. An amusing fact for an action movie like this. And the action scenes are nice too. However, it is very hard to find credibility, and that applies to both the story and the characters (the mediocre acting also contributes to this).

Nice movie with a nice and catchy title. Not a high-flyer unfortunately, and with this story there certainly could have been more. The transition from ordinary teenagers to seasoned guerrilla fighters has been very quick. As far as I'm concerned, it's now a matter of waiting for a remake that takes the source material more seriously to come up with a better quality film.

Fascinating story, but with an execution that leaves a lot to be desired. 2.5*

Mme.

Not a very special Australian film. The 'teens save the world' content is much too high for that. What is nice is that the teenagers all seem to be interested in the film and are all sympathetic.

But then you've actually had it. The threat of the country that has been taken over is virtually absent, the threat of invasion is also virtually absent and the action is also disappointing. Fortunately, it is all quite interesting.

a hint to a sequel, but if they continue like this it won't get much better I'm afraid. I will say, great acting and a gripping and interesting story, but not enough interesting action and threat from the enemy. This should be a nail biting movie, but it isn't.
